I headed up to Taylors Falls today with a good sized crew to go try Mike’s Left – the classic V7 (maybe classic of any grade there) boulder problem at Taylors. I’ve tried this boulder problem spread out over 3 days over the past 2 years and it has been a bit frustrating. I pretty much always felt like I was just about to send the problem on my previous trips before the sharp second hold would cut into my skin too much and I wouldn’t do it. Well, today finally was the day. Took about 15 tries and and a big hole in my left index finger but I finally stuck the top jug and finished the thing.
